How to save whatsApp Status With Out Any Apps
Whatsapp is one of the most famous messenger applications right now and the status is the most attractive feature of it. The WhatsApp status is a feature that allows its users to upload images, videos, GIFs, and texts for 24 hours. After 24 hours the status will be automatically removed from the app. The status will be visible to those who have the users’ contact saved and the user also has to save their phone number. The user can even choose to share their status with selected contacts. The WhatsApp doesn’t provide a direct status download option in it. Usually, people ask the person to send that particular status if they need and it is quite annoying sometimes. Another option is to download a third-party application to download the Whatsapp status. But installing an app just to save a WhatsApp status which we like is a waste of time as well as a waste of storage space. So what will we do to save a WhatsApp status? Here is a simple way to download the WhatsApp status without any third-party applications.
Step 1: Open your file manager application. If your phone doesn’t have a pre-installed file manager you can download it from your Playstore. Google Files is the best file manager app.
Step 2: In the file manager, tap the ‘Options’ key and then select the ‘Settings’.
Step 3: Enable the ‘Show hidden files’. Then move back and tap on browse, move to the bottom, and tap the ‘Internal Storage’.
Step 4: You can see the list of files in your device including the hidden files. In there go to the ‘Whatsapp’ folder, select ‘Media’, and in that, you can see the ‘Status’ option. To save the status, tap on the arrow button on the right side of the file name and tap copy to, choose the folder to copy the file.
As the WhatsApp status only stays for 24 hours you should download it within that time, otherwise, it will be automatically removed from the file manager also.
